The Hishi love story.

He was the last bastion of hope for the male progeny. He was lethargic and he used to growl at her, but he was the only hope. He was  a maverick and he had the paraphernalia to bring down a lass like her. People did complain that he had lassitude and that his selection was due to favoritism but his strength was that he knew how to manoeuvre through the ineffable mind of women. But finally they had to acquiesce to the decision as they could not go against the protocol. In the wake of these accusations he never, he never showed timidity and the kind of courage that he showed was only understated by the other members of the fraternity. The detractor's silence betokened the rise of a new star. Though there was no dearth of big-shots who were waiting to take part in this mission, there nomination was turned down as they could not adapt to the situations as he could. The fact that these guys were all venal was only secondary. Moreover he had fitted from house and was famous for being street-smart. There was not much time left. The drought has already hit the kingdom and the sorceror's  prediction, after seeing the satellite coming too close to earth, that it was a bad omen,  was seeming to be real. The waggish ministers said that "the only birds in the kingodom are in our aviary". The foliage, fauna and flora were on the verge of extinction.  Most of the botanists had bungled out. They wanted a miracle to re-instate faith in the minds of the common man. The young and old were conscripted alike. By doing this the minister did garner the required numbers, but no on e knew what was going to be course of action. A few contended that the approach taken by the king was fraught with wrong steps and rebuked them,but nobody knew the alternative. The king's think-tank which was considered as punctilious till the crisis arose was now being called non-functional. The strategy that was proposed by this think-tank at best was labelled as facile. And the already facile strategy was made a botch of things by the inexperience soldiers. An army attack at that state was the worst that could have happened, so the king made sure that the citadel was strong and served as a protection to the kingdom.
In-spite of this sorry state of the state the libidinous men did continue with what they were good at and that was lead a life of lechery.
